Frost protection
By wendy smith

I had my first taste of winter the other day. I walked outside early in the morning to find our car was full of frost. Although it wasn`t too bad I still had to use de-icer and a scraper to remove the frost from off the windscreen and the side windows. Brrr, I shudder at the thought of wintry weather and soon I`ll have to scrape ice off the car on a regular basis. Maybe this year I`ll invest in some form of Frost Protection so my morning routine isn`t as grim. It`s possible to buy covers that fit over the top half of the car and they provide plenty of Frost Protection over the winter months. Each cover is made from durable PPSB breathable material and it can be used to protect the car from other types of debris such as bird droppings or tree sap that could be deposited right throughout the year. Most people find it to be a chore when they have to scrape ice off their cars in the winter months. Those with garages will be ok but people who park on driveways or main roads might like to think about some Frost Protection for their vehicles this year. I`m certainly going to look into buying a cover for my car because I can`t stand de-icing the motor on cold, wintry mornings.

You`d have to be crazy to try to climb up mountain terrain without the right level of climbing equipment. From crampons to clothing it will be highly important that you and your party have enough essentials to help you to climb all the way up the summit. If you kit yourself out with rab outdoor clothing you`ll certainly have a comprehensive clothing collection that can keep you warm when the weather becomes extreme. Zip yourself into an ascent duvet jacket and this hard wearing item will keep the chills off your bones. Insulated clothing doesn`t come much finer than the garments found in the rab outdoor clothing range. You can buy them from a good stockist who caters for climbers and the prices are hopefully going to be the only thing that is plummeting this year. The jackets from rab are wonderfully warm but you are going to need something to keep your legs protected as well. Within the rab outdoor clothing range are Bergen pants that will work in harmony with the jacket and help to keep your lower half warm. You`d certainly be crazy to take on a monster mountain without a decent selection of outdoor clothing to aid you ascent.
